Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine Ausbildung der Schreibmaschine nach Patent 344037 bei der die Typenhebel um i80° geschwungen werden und sich in der Arbeitsstellung gegen ein Ruhelager legen können, das gegen die Tastatur heruntergeklappt werden kann. Das Wesen der Erfindung besteht darin, daß das Ruhelager starr an zwei seitlichen Armen befestigt ist, die am Gestell drehbar gelagert sind und eine solche Länge besitzen, daß das Ruhelager die Typenhebel an ihren freien Enden unterstützt.
