Die gufseiserne Wange a, welche auf den Füfsen b ruht, bildet das Bett der Maschine, auf welchem sich die Schlitten c C1 in einer Prismaführung vor- und zurückbewegen. Unter der Wange liegt die mit Doppelexcenter versehene Achse d, welche mittelst der Zugstücke e ex an die Schlitten c C1 angreift und dieselben behufs Stauchens des Eisens zusammenzieht. Das zu stauchende Eisen wird in die Spannbacken k Ar1 eingelegt und mittelst des Kapselverschlusses m festgespannt, der Hebel g in die Höhe gehoben, wodurch die Frictionsscheibe i eingerückt wird und die Maschine sich in Bewegung setzt bezw. die Stauchung ausführt.
