In order to use rifles according to the Mauser system, Gras, Berdan etc., which have been converted into repeating rifles, the rapid-fire device to turn off, even if the locking cylinder is advanced, we have made the device described below, which is illustrated in Figs.

In Fig. Ι the weapon is set up for repeating, a cartridge, lying in the spoon, ready to be inserted into the barrel; in Fig. 2 the weapon is also set up for repeating , the locking cylinder pushed forward, the spoon with a new cartridge out of the Magazine fitted; in Fig. 3 the weapon is drawn as an invitee.

Inside the lock box α and the box a ¹ , a space a ^{u is} worked out in which the lever d can move around its pin d ^1. This pin is mounted in the hub e ^{1 of} the parking slide e. So that the lever d cannot exceed its inclined position when the locking cylinder is moved quickly, it finds the necessary reference point at the corner α ^11.

In order to be able to use the weapon as a loader, in which case the cartridges which are in the magazine may not enter the spoon, it is necessary that the locking cylinder does not press the tip of the lever d. This is achieved in the present arrangement in that the slide e is pushed forward by means of its handle f , which movement must also be made by the lever d . As a result of this shifting, the lever is forced to fold downwards, since its front surface touches the corner α ¹¹ , Fig. 3. The tip of the lever is located in a correspondingly shaped cavity c ¹ in the spoon c.

Since the tip of the shut-off lever d is now on the area of the advancing locking cylinder, the spoon stops without making a downward movement.

So that the parking slide can make the required forward shift with the lever, a ^{l is in the lock box wall}

The slide is held in its position for repetition or for single loading by its rear part, which is shaped as a spring with a pointed head e ^11. The position of the slide, when the weapon functions as a repeater, is recognizable by a feature that is easily visible on the outside and is also marked with -R (repetition). The other part of the slide, also designed as a spring, is provided with a pin e ^IV , which serves to fix the spoon in its position with a single load, which is achieved by the fact that this pin e ^IV , which extends through the box wall a ¹ , grips under a projection c " on the spoon c , Fig. 3, so that it can only move a little downwards. a cartridge would step out of the magazine into the spoon. So that the spoon, when the repeater is put down in its lower position, can enter the position of the loader, a groove c ^{m is} attached to the spoon, which is filed upwards too deeper, Fig. 4, section gh. This groove enables the spoon to climb up unhindered despite the protruding pin e ^IV .

In order to convert the weapon into a repeater with the locking cylinder closed, if it has been used as a loader up to then, the slide must be pushed backwards from its front position. Here, the tip of the lever d slides on the ascending plane c ^{IV of} the spoon c, but pushes it down, as the lever finds resistance on the folded lock cylinder; Once at the bottom, a cartridge emerges from the full magazine into the spoon. The described arrangement of the Repetir storage device thus allows the same to be used when the shutter is open or when it is closed, both to go from single load to repetition, and vice versa. It is easy to handle, the various positions are quickly recognizable from the outside and there is no reason to disturb the repetition mechanism.

Patent claim: On rifles which have been converted into repeating rifles according to the Mauser, Gras, Berdan and so on systems, the attachment of a rapid-fire parking device, which can be handled from the outside, even when the locking cylinder is pushed forward, consisting of: 1. the rapid fire shut-off lever d in conjunction with the shut-off slide e; 2. the pin e ^IV attached to the front part of the parking slide e for locating the spoon c in the case of a single load and the associated groove c ^UI in the spoon; 3. the adjusting device e ^{11 of} the slide which is attached to the rear part of the parking slide e in the form of a spring; 4. the elaborated space a ¹¹ in the lock box α to limit the path of the shut-off lever d.
