The present invention relates to a device which is intended to transfer the heat from gases to water in the most perfect manner with the greatest simplicity and cheapness. The heat is generated by burning luminous gas at j. The products of combustion and event, the heated air partial rise in the pipe k upward and coat the bottom surface of the water reservoir B, partially they make their way in the direction of arrows χ around the edge f of the collecting container E. The W T ater fliefst initially in the Container B, trickles through a large number of fine openings in the bottom of B onto pan C, and then descends between heated pipe k and pipe L. The pipe L is surrounded by a pipe M , and between these two pipes the water rises again, passing the lower edge of the pipe L , exits through fine openings in the pipe M above the pan D and falls on the latter. The pan D is finely perforated so that the water flows in fine jets or. Rain falls on the outwardly lowering surface E. Drainage pipes F , which lead the water to the center of the pan G, are attached near the outer periphery of the disk E. The latter is of the same nature as the pan D, and so the water finally gets into the room H after the drain JV. On the way from the pan D to the container E and from the pan G to the room H, the water meets the hot gases from the hearth J, absorbing the heat from them.
Instead of letting the water run off through fine openings in pans D and G, it can also come over the edge in finely divided form.
