In der Patentanmeldung P. 30 28 432.3 und der Gebrauchsmusteranmeldung G. 80 20 132.7 wird eine Halterung beschrieben in der Spritzenzylinder unterschiedlichen Durchmessers und Volumen eingesetzt werden können. Die Spritzenzylinder unterscheiden sich in ihrer Konstruktion von den herkömmlichen Spritzenzylindern.In the patent application P. 30 28 432.3 and the utility model application G. 80 20 132.7 a holder is described in which syringe cylinders of different diameters and volumes can be used. In dieser Zusatzanmeldung handelt es sich um eine Abwandlung der bereits in der Hauptanmeldung beschriebenen Halterung. Bei dieser Konstruktion der Halterung können auch Spritzenzylinder der im Handel befindlichen Einmalspritzen eingelegt werden unterschiedlichen Durchmessers und Volumen. Der Vorteil dieser Methode liegt darin, dass keine neuen Formen für den Zylinder angefertigt werden müssen. Die Formkosten sind wegen der hohen Anzahl der Kavitäten in der Form sehr hoch. Für einen Satz Spritzenzylinder für 2, 5, 10 und 20 ml betragen sie um eine Million DM. Die hohen Formkosten könnten die Spritzenhersteller abhalten eine Injektionsspritze mit Halterung einzuführen, obwohl dabei 50% an Material für die Spritze und 30% an der Verpackung eingespart werden kann.
