Die Erfindung betrifft einen Brikettanknicker und dient zum Zerkleinern der Normalbriketts, um den Vorteil der Würfelbriketts zu erreichen. Bekannte Vorrichtungen zum Zerkleinern soleher Briketts erfordern hierfür zuviel Kraft, um für den Gebrauch zweckmäßig zu sein. Eingehende Versuche haben nun, nach Angabe des Erfinders, erwiesen, daß ein Brikett, das zwar zum Zerschneiden wie zum Anknicken eine große Kraft braucht, einmal angeknickt, leicht auseinanderfliegt, so daß ein weiteres Durchschneiden nicht erforderlich ist. Weitere Versuche haben ergeben, daß man an der Seitenkante des Briketts anknicken muß, um die geringste Kraft aufwenden zu müssen. Diesen Versuchen folgend und zugleich eine einfache und billige Herstellung der Vorrichtung erzielend, besteht die Erfindung darin, daß auf einer aus einem Fassoneisen bestehenden Brikettauflage a an einem Steg b ein ebenfalls aus einem Fassoneisen gebildeter Druckhebel c derart drehbar angeordnet ist, daß das dicht an den Steg geschobene Brikett von dem niedergehenden Druckhebel an der oberen Seitenkante angeknickt wird.The invention relates to a briquette knicker and is used to comminute the normal briquettes in order to achieve the advantage of the cube briquettes. Um diese Schwierigkeit zu beheben, ist unmittelbar am Steg b am Knikker c eine kleine Aussparung e vorgesehen, wie Fig. 4 zeigt, so daß man bei mehr oder weniger hohem Anheben des Knickerhebels die verschieden stärksten Briketts bis an den Steg b heranschieben kann. Zum Auffangen der beim Anknicken absplitternden Kohlenteile ist der Anknicker in einen Kasten f einzubauen, welcher diese Kohlenteile auffängt. Um die Abmessungen des Kastens möglichst gering zu halten, ist die Einrichtung so zu treffen, wie Fig. 2 zeigt, nämlich der Knicker wird nahe der einen Seitenwand des Kastens f angebracht, dessen Wand nur so hoch wie die Auflage b ist.
