Description
Die Erfindung betrifft ein Wandbekleidungsmaterial nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs I. Es handelt
sich somit um ein vorwiegend flächiges Gebilde, welches tapetenähnlich auf eine Wand aufgebracht werden kann.
Durch die CH-PS 5 87 llfi ist e'n derartiges Wandbekleidungsmaterial
bekannt, das eine rückseitige, im Gebrauch der Wand zugekehrte, fiammhemmende Zusätze
enthaltende offenzellige Schaumstoffschicht und eine vorderseitige, im Gebrauch dem Beschauer zugekehrte
Deckschicht aufweist. Die Deckschicht ist dekorativ ausgeführt und enthält Fasern. Das Wandbekleidungsmaterial
ist wärmeisoliererid, schallabsorbierend, flammhemmend, dekorativ und mit geringem Aufwand herstellbar.
Die Schaumstoffschicht hat ein hohes, moosgummiartiges Rückstellvermögen zur Erzielung einer geringen
Druckempfindlichkeit. Um das Atmen der Wand zu ermöglichen, ist das Wandbekleidungsmaterial gasdurchlässig.
Bei dem bekannten Wandbekleidungsmaterial Ist nachteilig, daß sich wegen seiner moosgummlartigen elastischen
Schaumstoffschicht unruhige und eingezogene Fugen ergeben können. Das Verlegen des Wandbekleidungsmaterials
Ist dadurch erschwert. Daher ist eine größere Steifigkeit der Schaumstoffschlchl anzustreben. Dies
wäre unter Beibehaltung der Druckunempflndlichkeit des Wandbekleidungsmaterials durch eine Erhöhung des
Anteils von In der Schaumstoffschicht enthaltenem Füllmittel erreichbar. Eine Füllmittelerhöhung hätte jedoch
den Nachteil, daß die Im Schaumstoff eingeschlossene
Luftmenge verringert würde, so daß die isolierenden Eigenschaften abnehmen würden,
Der Erfindung liegt daher die Aufgabe zugrunde, das bekannte Wandbekleidungsmaterial so zu verbessern,
daß es einfach und unter Ausbildung exakter Fugen verlegbar ist, ohne an Isolierwirkung einzubüßen. Die
Lösung der gestellten Aufgabe erfolgt bei dem eingangs beschriebenen Wandbekleidungsmaterial erflndungsgcmäß
durch die Merkmale Im Kennzeichen des Patentanspruchs
1.
Die Körner mit geschlossenen Zellen bewirken eine Versteifung der Schaumstoffschicht ohne das Isoliervermögen
zu reduzieren. Die versteifte Schaumstoffschicht ermöglicht beim Verlegen exakte Fugen und ist genügend
gummiartig und daher druckunempfindlich. Die Körner mit geschlossenen Zellen können aus Glas und
CaSiO4 bestehen. Am Trockengewicht der Schaumstoffschicht
haben diese Körner einen Anteil von bis zu ca. 75t.

LJnteransprüchen angegeben.
Die Körner mit geschlossenen Zellen können mindestens größtenteils mi! einem inerten Gas gefüllt sein.
Hierfür kann Stickstoff und/oder Kohlendioxyd vorgese-Ii
hen werden. Der Durchmesser der Körner liegt vorzugsweise im Bereich von 10 bis 300 μ, insbesondere bis zu
75 μ.
Die Erfindung soll nachstehend anhand von beispielsweisen Angaben näher erläutert werden:
Ein Polyestervlies, welches bei einem Quadratmetergewlcht
von ca. iöOg eine Dicke von etwa 1 mm aufweist, wird einseitig in an sich bekannter Weise so bedruckt,
daß man eine lichtecht veredelte, reibechte und tapetenartig abwaschbare Oberfläche mit textilem Charakter
« erhält.
Das Polyestervlies wird in einer Vorrichtung herkömmlicher Art rückseitig mit einer Schaumstoffschichi
versehen. Hierbei fungiert das Polyestervlies als Deckschicht. Der Schaumstoff für die Schaumstoffschicht hat
folgende Rezepta?:

Die Bestandteile des Schaumstoffs werden in einem
><> Mischer verschäumt und dann durch einen statischen
Mischer hindurch auf die Rückseite des Polyestervlieses •ufgetragen, wobei vor dem statischen Mischer als
Geliermittel Ammoniumacetat oder Natrium-Silicofluorid zugesetzt wird. Zur Beschleunigung des Gellervor-
5i ganges läßt man den mittels einer Rakel auf eine geeignete
Schichtdicke eingestellten Schaum samt dem darunter befindlichen Polyestervlies unter einem Infrarotstrahlerfeld
passleren. Dann erfolgt In einem Durchlaufofen die Vulkanisation. Der Schaum kann auch Im Non-Gel
*>o Verfahren hergestellt werden, wofür In der oben genannten
Rezeptur das Kaliumoleat durch eine synthetische
Seife, ζ. B. durch das Nalrlumsalz eines Sulfosuccinamates ersetzt wird. Auch In diesem Fall wird In üblicher
Welse Im Durchlaufofen vulkanisiert. Die so erhaltene
e5 Schaumstoffschicht mit einer Dicke von beispielsweise
5 mm Ist fest mit dem Polyestervlles verbunden. Sie weist ein gutes Rückstellvermögen auf. Ist genügend
welch und druckunemnflndlich und bietet eine eute
Grundlage zum Ankleben des so erhaltenen Wandbekleidunssmaterials an einer Wand.
Die hohikugelartigen Körner aus Aluminiumsilikat dienen bei Erhaltung der Isoliereigenschaft zur Versteifung
der Schaumstoffschicht. Die Füllung der Hohlkugeln mit Kohlendioxyd und Stickstoff steigert die
Flammwidrigkeit und das Isoliervermögen. Als zusätzliches Flammwidrigkeitsmittel kann der oben genannten
Rezeptur Aluminium-Oxydhydrat zugesetzt werden.
Als Deckschicht kann auch ein dekorativ gestaltetes Gewebe oder Gewirk Verwendung finden.
Eine hohe fiammhemmende Wirkung und Flammwidrigkeit
erhält man, wenn die Fasern der Deckschicht mindestens zum überwiegenden Teil als Glasfasern ausgebildet
sind, wobei hierfür ebenfalls Vliese oder strukturiert gewobene Gebilde verwendet werden können.
In der einzigen Zeichnungsfigur ist eine Seitenansicht eines erfindungsgemäßen Wandbekleidungsmaterials
dargestellt. Eine aus einem Vlies bestehende Deckschicht 1 hat eine Dicke IO von etwa 1,1 mm. Sie ist innig mit
einer Schaumstoffschicht 2 verbunden, welche auf die
Rückseite der Deckschicht 1 aufgeschäumt, darauf geliert und vulkanisiert wurde. Die Schaumstoffschicht 2
hat ihrerseits eine Schichtdicke 20 in der Größenordnung von 4 mm und eine genügend weiche gummiartige Konsistenz.
Die relativ glatte Oberfläche Il der Deckschicht
1 kann mit einem Druckmuster versehen und gegebenenfalls zusätzlich strukturiert sein, beispielsweise durch
Prägung. Die Rückseite 21 der Schaumstoffschicht 2 ist ebenfalls relativ glatt. Die Poren der Schaumstoffschicht
2 sind so klein, daß ein auf die Rückseite 21 aufgetragener Leim mit der porösen Schaumstoffschicht 2 eine gute
Bindung eingeht, aber nicht so tief in die Schaumstoffschicht eindringen kann, daß deren Funktion beeinträchtigt
würde, in der Schaumstoffschicht 2 sind hohlkugelartige Körner 22 enthalten, die durch vereinzelte Punkte
dargestellt sind. Die Anzahl der Punkte ist nicht repräsentativ.

Claims (4)
1. Wandbekleidungsmaterial mit einer rückseitigen, im Gebrauch der Wand zugekehrten, flammhemmende
Zusätze enthaltenden, elastischen, gasdurchlässigen offenzelligen Schaumstoffschicht und einer
vorderseitigen, im Gebrauch dem Beschauer zugekehrten Fasern enthaltenden Deckschicht, wobei das
Wandbekleidungsmaterial wärmeisolierende, schallabsorbierende und fiammhemmende Eigenschaften
besitzt, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß in der Schaumstoffschicht (2) hohlkugelartige Körner (22)
aus anorganischem Material mit geschlossenen Zellen vorgesehen sind.
2. Wandbekleidungsmaterial nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daS die Körner (22) mindestens
größtenteils mit einem inerten Gas gefüllt sind.
3. Wandbekleidungsmaterial nach Anspruch 2, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß als inertes Gas Stickstoff
und/oder Kühienciioxyd vorgesehen ist.
4. Wandbekleidungsmaterial nach einem der Ansprüche 1 bis 3, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die
Körner (22) eine Korngrößenverteilung von 10 bis 300 μ, insbesondere bis zu 75 μ, aufweisen.
