Die in den Figuren dargestellte erfindungsgemäße Spritzschutzwand ist oberhalb einer Badewanne 2 angeordnet, die in herkömmlicher Weise zwei Längsseiten 4 und 6 sowie Stirnseiten 8 und 10 aufweist. Die Badewanne 2 steht mir ihrer Längsseite 4 benachbart zu einer Raumwand 1 2. Rechtwinklig zu der Raumwand 1 2 ist eine transparente, starre Spritzschutzwand 14 angeordnet. Anstelle der starren Spritzschutzwand 14 könnte eine weitere Raumwand 13 benachbart zu der Stirnseite 8 der Badewanne 2 angeordnet sein, vgl. Einbausituation gemäß Fig. 4. Die erfindungsgemäße Spritzschutzwand besteht ausweislich des dargestellten Ausführungsbeispiels aus drei mittels Scharnier-Gelenken 16, 18 verschwenkbar aneinander befestigten Wandelementen 20, 22, 24, die in an sich bekannter Weise jeweils einen äußeren Rahmen aus Metall- oder Kunststoffprofilen und ein von dem Rahmen aufgenommenes ebenes Trennelement aufweisen. Das äußere Wandelement 20 ist mittels einer Befestigungsschiene 26 verschwenkbar an der Raumwand 12 befestigt, wobei ein ebenfalls an sich bekanntes Scharnier-Gelenk zwischen die Befestigungsschiene 26 und das äußere Wandelement 20 geschaltet ist. Fig. 4) abdichtend an. In diesem Zustand ist das Wandelement 20 rechtwinklig, das Wandelement 24 parallel und beabstandet und das mittlere Wandelement 22 schrägwinklig zu der Raumwand 12 angeordnet. Diese weitere Raumwand wird regelmäßig rechtwinklig zu der ersten Raumwand angeordnet sein, wie die vorstehenden Figuren veranschaulichen. Das weitere Wandelement ist dabei ebenfalls vorzugsweise mit Hilfe von Magneten in der geschlossenen Stellung der Spritzschutzwand an der weiteren Raum wand fixierbar. In der zusammengefalteten Stellung der Spritzschutzwand sind die beiden Wandelemente im wesentlichen parallel angeordnet und vor die zur Längsseite der Badewanne benachbarte Raumwand 12 geklappt (vgl. beispielsweise Figur 3 betreffend das Ausführungsbeispiel mit drei Wandelementen).In a manner not shown, the splash guard wall according to the invention has, according to a further embodiment, two wall elements that are pivotably attached to one another by means of a joint.
