Die Erfindung betrifft Seitensichtanlagen für Fahrzeuge, insbesondere Lastkraftwagen. The invention relates to side vision systems for vehicles, in particular trucks.
Jährlich verunglücken mehr als hundert Verkehrsteilnehmer, insbesondere Fußgänger und Radfahrer (nach offiziellen Mitteilungen des Bayerischen Staatsministeriums des Innern mehr als 175) tödlich oder mit zum Teil schweren Verletzungen beim Abbiegen von überlangen Lastkraftwagen mit Anhängern bzw. Sattelaufliegern. Noch kritischer wird die Situation für den Fahrer beim Rechtsabbiegen in eine Vorfahrtsstraße. Dabei muß der Fahrer auf den von links kommenden Verkehr achten, und gleichzeitig den rechts am Fahrzeug aufkommenden Verkehr (PKWs, Radfahrer und evtl. Fußgänger) im Auge behalten. Dies wird für den Fahrer jedoch immer schwieriger, da sich der über die Spiegel einsehbare Winkel mit der einschlagenden Zugmaschine zur Bordwand des Anhängers hin verkleinert, und sich somit der nicht einsehbare Bereich gefährlich vergrößert (Skizze Fig.5) In eingeschränktem Maße gilt dies auch für die linke Fahrzeugseite beim Linksabbiegen, wobei hier der direkte Sichtbereich durch einen Blick aus dem Seitenfenster vergrößert werden kann.Despite the mandatory rear-view mirrors, the driver currently has only a limited view of the area next to the vehicle, particularly in heavy vehicles with a high-mounted driver's cab. Abhilfe schafft hier also eine - bspw. an der Halterung des jeweiligen Außenspiegels angebrachte - Videokamera (18). Diese kann sich bspw. bei Betätigung des Richtungsblinkers automatisch einschalten. Die um 90° gedrehte Videokamera (18) ermöglicht einen Sichtwinkel horizontal von über 60°, vertikal von über 80°. In besonderen Fällen ist auch eine elektronische Anpassung der Brennweite (Digitales Zoomen) an die gegebenen Verhältnisse denkbar. Bei Spezialfahrzeugen (z.B. sochen mit Nachlenkachsen) können zusätzliche Videokameras bei Spezialfahrzeugen oder solchen mit ungewöhnlichen Ladungen zur besseren Manövrierfähigkeit vorgesehen sein, wobei auch die drahtlose Video-Übertragung vom Anhänger od. Dgl. Wie aus Fig. 1, 2 und 3 ersichtlich, verbleiben bei den herkömmlichen Seitenspiegeln stets nicht überwachbare Bereiche. Falls großwinkelige Außenspiegel (12, 13) eingesetzt werden, verbessert sich der Sichtbereich, wie aus Fig. 2 ersichtlich. Aus Fig. 3 ergibt sich das Sichtfeld des üblichen Anfahrspiegels. In Fig. 4 sind nun nochmals die Sichtbereiche, die durch großwinkelige Außenspiegel und Anfahrspiegel bestrichen werden können, ersichtlich. Beim Abbiegen wird, wie aus Fig. 7 ersichtlich, für den Fahrer 16 der Sichtbereich verändert - es verbleibt aber immer noch ein nicht zu vernachlässigender, unerwünscht großer „Toter Raum", in dem Fahrradfahrer, Motorradfahrer, kleine Fahrzeuge und Kinder etc. erheblich gefährdet sind.As can be seen from Fig. 1, 2 and 3, there are always areas that cannot be monitored with conventional side mirrors.
