DESCRIPTION :

Short - gliding device for alpine downhill and freestyle skiing, as well as for skating on flat terrain.

STATE OF THE ART:

There is currently no suitable short gliding device for snowboard and ski boots (hard shell boots) that would be useful for use in alpine downhill and freestyle skiing (e.g. half pipes), as well as for skating on flat terrain.

PROBLEM:

The invention specified in claims 1-3 is based on the problem of producing a short gliding device that is compatible with snowboard and ski boots (hard shell boots) and covers the alpine downhill and freestyle areas, as well as the skating sector on flat terrain.

SOLUTION:

This problem is solved with the features listed in claims 1 - 3.

ADVANTAGE ACHIEVED :

The invention of this short gliding device has made it possible to use it in alpine downhill and freestyle skiing, as well as in skating on flat terrain. The raised end of the short device also makes it possible to ride backwards. The extremely short design of the short device and the raised part with the binding mounted on it allows the riders of the short sports device a high degree of freedom of movement when downhill, skating and doing acrobatics. The short gliding device can also be used as an aid in ski courses or similar. The binding system means that the short gliding device can be used for snowboard and ski boots (hard shell boots). The small size and light weight of the short gliding device means it is very easy to transport and can therefore be easily carried around as a short second sports device at any time.

Claims (3)

PROTECTION CLAIMS: 1.) Short - gliding device as alpine, freestyle and skating sports equipment. The running surfaces (1 ) - may have a raised part (2) on the top, - with the respective elevation (2) in one operation (e.g. injection molding technology) can be manufactured and can therefore be considered as one part with the elevations, - made of V2A steel, aluminum or aluminum with metal edges, plastic or plastic with metal edges, wood or wood with metal edges or combinations of the previously mentioned materials or combinations of the previously mentioned materials with metal edges, - can have straight or slightly tapered inner (4) and/or outer edges (5), - are bent up at both ends to enable forward and reverse travel, - at both ends (6), may have an upward bend or angulation of any number of degrees, with or without a downward bend or angulation, and whose highest point, measured at right angles to the underside of the tread, does not exceed a height of 200 mm, - are flat up to the bends or are bent upwards or downwards at any number of degrees, - have a maximum thickness of 150 mm, - the corners are rounded or punched out to any radius for safety reasons and then sanded down, - have a maximum width of 200 mm and a maximum length of the bottom of the slope of 550 mm. 2.) Short - sliding device according to protection claim 1, wherein the elevation (2> - can also be made of V2A steel, aluminium, plastic, wood or combinations of the previously mentioned materials, - can be milled out of the tread material, - can be produced with the running surface (1) in one operation (e.g. injection molding technology) and can therefore be considered as one part with the running surface, - can be designed individually or in several parts and in various shapes, - can be connected to the gliding device surface (1) parallel to the inner and outer edge or at other radii to the inner and outer edge, - the mounting base for a standard binding, which firmly and securely connects snowboard and ski boots (hard shell boots) to the short gliding device, - represents a connection between the runners (1), binding (3) and shoe (7), so that the stance on the runners is raised and tighter turns are made possible. 3.) Short - sliding device according to claim (1), whereby the surfaces - the short sliding device (1) and the elevation (2) can have different properties, e.g. smooth, rough, grooved, etc. - can be painted, anodised or physically or chemically treated with other materials.
