Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a snowboard with divided sliding surface, according to the preamble of
In recent years, various solutions have become known, which relate to the shape design but also to the technical feasibility of snowboards. These changes relate to both conventional one-piece snowboards and split-board snowboards. In particular, with the formation of snowboards in split design, the supporting structures and the flexibility of snowboards to be improved, it being assumed that the general knowledge that the flexibility of a snowboard - has a significant impact on the driving characteristics of a snowboard, this in consideration of driving on differently trained slopes. Furthermore, the characteristics of a snowboard when cornering determined by the sidecut.
The flexibility of a snowboard in terms of its vertical direction, d. H. the resilient resistance that a snowboard opposes in an upward or downward movement of its longitudinal ends, has a significant impact on the handling characteristics. If the snowboard slides flat on the snow in the longitudinal direction, it must be ensured by a properly sized flexibility that the snowboard in Bodenmulden with both longitudinal ends an upward bend relative to the central region of the snowboard and perform on bumps or projections a certain back-bending.
The characteristics of a snowboard when cornering on the one hand by its sidecut - the middle region of the snowboard has regularly a smaller width than the longitudinal ends of the snowboard - and on the other determined by the flexibility of each curve-inner longitudinal edge.
When cornering, the snowboard is folded, ie tilted sideways, so that practically only the curve-inner longitudinal edge has contact with the snow, while the outer longitudinal edge is lifted more or less far from the snow.
That's how it describes
The proposed slot divides the sliding surface of the snowboard partially in two separate sliding surfaces, which may have a positive effect in terms of sliding resistance, however, the typical snowboard shape was changed by the waisting of the central region has been significantly reduced, so that this has a negative effect when cornering.
A snowboard with divided sliding surface describes the
The problem with this solution is that, of course, the two shared equalization surfaces must be connected for one driving operation so that the desired advantages are also achieved. This is to be achieved by a spring and
Damping spacer element, which is mounted between the base plate and the sliding surface on the two sliding parts. This type of connection is both technically and economically very expensive, in this solution, a different type of connection from snowboard to sports shoe is necessary, which differ from conventional binding designs and are very complicated in their execution.
The invention is therefore based on the object to develop a snowboard with a shared sliding surface, with which the driving characteristics, the straight-running characteristics and the cornering properties are improved.
According to the invention this object is achieved with the features of the
Particular embodiments and advantageous solutions are specified in the subclaims.
The invention is based on the recognition that the proven in practice properties of conventional snowboards in terms of their design, design and the Herstellungsangsverfahrens, are largely retained, but the performance characteristics of the snowboard over known solutions to be substantially improved.
Thus, a snowboard was created whose board consists of a body and the board is designed so that it is formed in its longitudinal shape with lateral sliding parts forming the sliding surfaces of the snowboard and centered with a footprint in the form of a raised longitudinal ridge.
It belongs to the invention that the sliding parts and the longitudinal web are formed in the board so that they pass in the front and rear of the board in a closed front piece or tail, thus a one-piece snowboard with split sliding surfaces was created.
It was particularly important that the created snowboard brings the benefits of a one-piece snowboard to bear or united in itself, so that the widths of the snowboard in the front and rear area correspond to those of a conventional snowboard.
It is within the scope of the invention that the snowboard in the central region has a sidecut, which is formed by the longitudinal shape of the two sliding parts.
While the bottoms of the slide parts represent the sliding surfaces of the snowboard, the footprint on which the athlete stands for snowboard is formed by the longitudinal web formed with corresponding receivers, for example, inserts to which commercially available bindings are attached. The longitudinal web is at a distance, preferably from 3 cm to 5 cm, to the two lateral sliding parts formed so that the two sliding surfaces are formed with their sliding parts, which merge into the front and rear full-surface sliding area of the snowboard.
The formation of the snowboard with the increased longitudinal ridge brings two major benefits to fruition. So on the one hand the increase of the flexibility of the snowboard, which has a positive effect on the driving characteristics and on the other hand in reducing the sliding resistance of a snowboard. This through the formation of the split sliding surfaces.
The increased design of the longitudinal web requires not only an increase in the flexibility of the snowboard, but also improved handling, especially when cornering. The height difference resulting between the longitudinal web and the two lateral sliding parts, the distance between the binding and the sliding parts, is compensated for by providing spacer elements on the surfaces of the sliding parts, in the region of the respective ski boot binding, which have a thickness dimension which corresponds to the height difference between the sliding parts and the longitudinal web corresponds.
The spacer elements can be applied by gluing firmly on the surfaces of the sliding parts, wherein in a preferred embodiment, the spacer elements in an analogous embodiment of the attachment of the ski boot bindings on the longitudinal web are interchangeable or adjustable. The same type of fastening is chosen as for the spacer elements, which has a positive manufacturing and economic effect.
In a further embodiment, the height differences between the sliding parts and the longitudinal web can be compensated for by spacing elements arranged on the ski boot bindings, on their bearing surfaces in the tip and heel regions, which are formed with a distance dimension corresponding to the height difference between the longitudinal web and the sliding parts of the snowboard corresponds.
This is also the demand or desire of snowboarders justice, which would like to drive in different foot positions the snowboard.
At the same time, when using the snowboard, the pressure on the sliding surfaces is increased and the stability is improved.
The variability of the foot positions on the snowboard is also achieved according to the present invention in that guide rails are provided in the longitudinal direction of the snowboard on or in the longitudinal webs, in which the ski boot loadings are received, which are then adjustable in the guide rails in the longitudinal direction of the snowboard.
The one-piece design of the created snowboard also creates advantages in terms of its production. Thus, this snowboard can be made of a plastic fiber or wood, the snowboard can also be made of other materials, in particular materials are considered, which affect the formation of the snowboard in its production both manufacturing technology and economically positive.
Overall, a snowboard was created according to the invention, with which the sliding resistance between the sliding surfaces of the snowboards and the track to be traveled reduced and the smoothness of the snowboard is substantially increased. This snowboard combines the characteristics of three snowboard types, which can be driven in particular as a raceboard, both as an allround board, but also in deep snow with the appropriate width.
The invention will be explained in more detail with reference to an example of embodiment in conjunction with the drawing. The drawing shows the snowboard in a perspective view.
From the illustration of the attached drawing immediately follows the formation of the
