Auch PKW-Systeme, die bei Einlegen des Rückwärtsganges den rechten Rückspiegel leicht nach unten neigen, können diesen Mangel beim Einparken in Vorwärtsrichtung, nicht beheben. Darüber hinaus sind noch sog. Parktroniksysteme zu erwähnen, die sich die Technik von Ultraschallsensoren zu nutze machen, um vor Objekten zu warnen, die zu nahe an Front oder Heck geraten. Auch teure Reifenerneuerungen, die nach einer Kollision eines Reifens mit dem Bordstein entstehen würden, entfallen.
