Die Erfindung betrifft elektrisch beeinflußbare Heizkörper- Thermostate mit Dehnelement wie sie zur Regelung von Raumtemperaturen in Verbindung mit Heizkörperventilen in Zentralheizungssystemen verwendet werden. Die Wunschtemperatur ist manuell einstell- und bei manchen Typen durch Arretierung des Thermostatkopfes begrenzbar. Bei diesen Thermostaten ist es möglich, die am Thermostatdrehkopf von Hand eingestellte Solltemperatur durch elektrische Erwärmung des Dehnelementes zu verringern. Die elektrische Beeinflussung wird verwendet, um nicht unnötig Heizenergie zu vergeuden, um z.B. bei offenen Fenstern die Heizkörper abzusperren, um in Büros in denen nicht gearbeitet wird die Raumtemperatur abzusenken, oder um nicht erreichbare Heizkörper fernzubedienen.
