Der Spülgutträger weist weiterhin einen an den Geschirrkorb anbringbaren Geschirrkorbeinsatz auf, welcher mit bodenseitigen Haltern versehen ist, mit denen der Geschirrkorbeinsatz lösbar an den Geschirrkorb ankoppelbar ist. Der Geschirrkorbeinsatz reicht dabei von einer nach oben gerichteten Seitenwand zur parallel gegenüberstehenden Seitenwand des Geschirrkorbes, so daß auf diese Weise langgestreckte Spülgutteile, z. B. Messer, Gabeln und andere langstielige Teile, anordenbar sind. Ein Spülgutträger einer Haushalt-Geschirrspülmaschine umfaßt zum Anordnen von Spülgut einen horizontal in der Geschirrspülmaschine verschiebbaren Geschirrkorb 3. Weiterhin weist der Spülgutträger zwei Auflageelemente 5, 5' auf, auf welchen zusätzlich Spülgut anordenbar ist. Diese Auflageelemente 5, 5' sind dabei getrennt voneinander in jeweils drei voneinander verschiedenen Ausrichtungen (A), (B) oder (C) arretierbar. In der horizontalen Ausrichtung (A) dienen die Auflageelemente 5, 5' zur Aufnahme von langgestreckten Spülgutteilen, insbesondere Besteckteilen.
