Klärvorrichtung. Patentiert im Deutschen Reiche vom 22. Februar 1913 ab. Clarifier. Patented in the German Empire on February 22, 1913.
Man hatThe invention relates to a sewage treatment plant which differs from the known in that that once the water before it enters the actual clarifier from the usual funnel-shaped Gets shape, is sprayed in a certain way. -The spraying should be done in such a way that the The water is intensively aerated. It should also be arranged in a very specific way are fed to the clarifier. One has
However, this was only intended to promote the chemical action of the air. That was enough when air and water were mixed up.
The invention, however, makes use of the fact that both by the mass action how the resistance of the air causes the water particles to be sprayed in a certain direction overtake the suspended solids so that a separation of the raw liquid into a less and a part that is more heavily contaminated by suspended matter takes place. It also favors ventilation on the one hand the chemical clarification process through the absorption of oxygen and on the other hand a release of suspended matter from adhering air bubbles. This separation of raw water in pure and impure parts is now exploited according to the invention in such a way, that the water is sprayed evenly on all sides; that so to speak a circular spray wave is generated and the spray wave at the outer edge of the usual funnel-shaped clarifier opens. The basin should be as close as possible to the flowing water display its entire surface freely, so that the described effect can be shown to its best advantage can come. The pure water is found in the spray wave that flows out close to the edge of the circular clarification basin outside and surrounds the impure water on the whole perimeter. The approaching ring-shaped Splash wave forms a wave crest at the edge of the clarifier, which tends to spread radially towards the center point, so with the suspended solids. are concentrated on the inside of the wave crest and the clarified particles on the outside still experience a thrust effect. By this very energetic expansion inwardly felting itself on all sides suspended solids shooting towards each other, and a core of dirt forms from a ring of clarified water.
The drawing gives two exemplary embodiments of the concept of the invention in the vertical Longitudinal section again.
The raw water emerging from the line 1 is sprayed on all sides on an impact surface 2. as circular spray wave, it hits a baffle 3 again. Through this repetition On the one hand, the lead of the pure water parts over the unclean water is increased, on the other hand it is certain achieved that the circular spray wave opens only at the outer edge of the clarifier. Finally, some of the suspended matter also becomes matted when hitting the impact
