Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein kappenförmiger Entlüftungsfirstziegel zum Entlüften des Dachraumes. Von den bekannten Entlüftungsziegeln unterscheidet sich der vorliegende wesentlich dadurch, daß er aus zwei aufeinandergesetzten Kappen besteht, wobei die obere Kappe auf dem Rücken der unteren Kappe in Mörtelfalzen verlegt und verkittet ist. Versetzt zueinander liegende Öffnungen ίο in den beiden Kappen und seitlich schlitzartige Aussparungen in der oberen Kappe dienen zum Luftdurchlaß bzw. zum Ableiten des eintretenden Wassers o. dgl.
