Erfindungsgemäß wird dies dadurch erreicht, daß die Besen-oder Bürstenkörper od. dgl. aus mindestens zwei Teilen, gleicher oder verschiedenartiger I-1aterialien, vorzugsweise aber aus thermoplastischem Kunststoff im Spritzgußverfahren od. dgl. hergestellt sind, wobei die Haube und der Borstenträger derart gestaltet sind, daß eine formschlüssige Verbindung miteinander, nach dem Aufschweißen der Borsten, erfolgen kann. Wesentlich ist dabei, daß die Teile nur so dick ausgeführt werden, wie dies festigkeitsmäßig erforderlich ist und daß z.B. ein im Quer- uiid Längsschnitt U-Form aufweisender Borstenträger an seinem freien Ende der umlaufenden Wandung einen nach außen zeigenden Bund aufweist und eine ebenfalls im Quer- und Längsschnitt U-Form aufweisende Haube am freien Ende seiner umlaufenden Wandung ein Winkelprofil besitzt, welches mit seinem zum Innenraum ge eines geschlossenen geometrischen Gebildes, im Beispiel ein Rechteck, weisenden freien Schenkel unterhalb des freien Endes der umlaufenden Wandung der Haube verbunden ist, so daß sich an dieser eine umlaufende Nut ausbildet. Nach dem Aufschweißen der Kunstborsten auf den glatten Borstenträger, er kann auch Sacklöcher auSweisen, welche dann den Schweißaustritt aufnehmen, wird dieser mit seinem umlaufenden freien Ende in die deckungsgleich umlaufende Nut des freien Endes der Haube eingesetzt und durch vorzugsweise mittels Ultraschall umgebördelter äußeren Nutbegrenzung mit dieser formschlüssig verbunden.
