Den Gegenstand der Erfindung bildet eine weitere Ausbildung der Vorrichtung zum Entwässern und Reinigen von Dampf nach Patent 267784. Bekanntlich stellen sich dem Einbau von Dampfreinigern in den Dom von Lokomotiven große Schwierigkeiten entgegen infolge des sehr kleinen verfügbaren Raumes. Um diesen Schwierigkeiten zu begegnen und auch bei stündlich zu reinigenden bedeutenden Dampfmengen einen genügend großen Reiniger verwenden und eine vollkommene Reinigung ermöglichen zu können, wird ein Teil der Domwand selbst in Verbindung mit einer mit Wulst und schräger Prallplatte versehenen Wand als Dampf kanal im- Dome ausgebildet, und ferner wird dieser Kanal oben in einer gebogenen Rinne bogenförmig weitergeführt, um- so die Ausströmungsdüse für den zu reinigenden Dampf zu bilden. Unterhalb der Prallwand befindet sich ein Kasten, welcher oben das Wasser und unten den Schlamm enthält. Dieser Kasten ist in bekannter Weise einerseits mit einem Wasserauslaß, welcher in den Kessel mündet, und andererseits mit einem Schlammauslaß versehen, welcher zeitweise mit der freien Luft verbunden werden kann.The subject of the invention is a further embodiment of the device for dewatering and cleaning steam according to patent 267784.
