Ein Haken / ist an der linken Wand des Magazins angebracht. Man nähert das Magazin dem Gewehr und drückt den Haken f auf die Feder a. Da diese Feder an ihrem oberen und äufseren Theil abgerundet ist, so läfst sie den Haken/ eintreten, welcher dann in das Loch b eingreift; wenn der obere Theil des Hakens / unter der Feder hinweggegangen ist, tritt diese letztere wieder hervor und prefst den Haken mit der flachen Seite derart zurück, dafs es unmöglich ist, ihn vorwärts zu schieben. Auf diese Weise wird das Magazin durch eine einzige Bewegung am Gewehr befestigt und kann daran bleiben, so lange es nothwendig ist.
