Das Hauptpatent betrifft einen Türpuffer, welcher, aus einem Stück harten Drahtes gebogen, in eine Fußplatte eingeschoben und vermöge der Federkraft beider Drahtschenkel darin festgehalten wird. Für leichtere Türen kann jedoch die Ausführung wesentlich vereinfacht und verbilligt werden, indem man den federnden Draht statt zwei- nur einarmig ausführt.The main patent relates to a door stop, which, bent from a piece of hard wire, inserted into a base plate and held in place by the spring force of both wire legs. Der Draht wird am oberen Ende zu einem nicht ganz geschlossenen Ringe gebogen, dessen freies Ende genügend federt, um den Gummipuffer h, welcher eine entsprechende Ringnut besitzt, hinein- und im Ringe β festklemmen zu können. Das gerade Stück d geht dann in die Schraubenwindungen c über, um zuletzt in einen halbrunden Haken mit den geraden Schenkeln f und g zu endigen. Das freie Ende g kann gegen den Schenkel f federn und wird hierdurch, indem man dieses Draht ende mit der halbrunden Seite voraus in die Fußplatte einführt, in dieser befestigt. Die Fußplatte besteht aus der glatten viereckigen Platte b und dem darauf befestigten Teile a, welcher in der Mitte die kastenartige, an drei Seiten geschlossene Erhöhung besitzt, in welche von der offenen Seite her das Drahtstück g, f eingeschoben wird. Die Platten α und b sind in der Grundfläche gleich groß und werden seitlich durch Niete verbunden, wie dies Fig. 3 andeutet. An jeder Seite der Platte a befinden sich ferner je zwei Löcher, welche auch durch die Platte b hindurchgehen und dazu dienen, das Ganze mittels vier Holzschrauben auf der Türumrahmung zu befestigen (Fig. 3 und 5). Der innere Raum des Kastens α ist schmaler, als das Drahtende f, g in ungespanntem Zustande breit ist, so daß beim Einschieben desselben in den Kasten der Drahtteil f, g zusammengedrückt wird und daher nicht von selbst herausfallen kann. Hierin unterscheidet sich dieser Türpuffer wesentlich von dem des Hauptpatentes, bei welchem die den Türpuffer in der Fußplatte festhaltende Federkraft einzig von dem den Gummipuffer einschließenden Ringe ausgeht, während diese am vorliegenden Gegenstande im Drahtende selbst liegt. Der Kasten auf der Platte α muß rückseits geschlossen sein, damit das Drahtende f, g nicht durch den Druck der Tür zu weit hindurchgeschoben werden kann.The wire is bent at the upper end into a ring that is not completely closed, the free end of which is sufficiently resilient to be able to clamp the rubber buffer h, which has a corresponding annular groove, in and in the ring β. This door buffer differs significantly from that of the main patent, in which the spring force holding the door buffer in the footplate comes from the rings enclosing the rubber buffer, while this is in the wire end itself on the subject matter. The box on the plate α must be closed at the back so that the wire end f, g cannot be pushed through too far by the pressure of the door.
