Flowerpot-shaped container into which a conventional rigid flowerpot (which may contain a potted plant) can be placed is claimed. The article is frusto-conical with a flexible mantle, and a ring or a bottom plate fitted into its lower end. A 2nd ring for stabilising the shape of the article, is fitted at the top third of the mantle. The article can be re-used after the rigid flowerpot and the plant(s) in it have been discarded.
