Description
Die Erfindung betrifft eine gelegeverstärkte Folienbahn nach dem
Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs.
Bei einer aus der US-PS 37 91 911 bekannten gelegeverstärkten
Folienbahn dieser Art fassen die Folien das von diesen abge
deckte Gelege beidseits bis über die Umkehrpunkte der Bändchen
hinaus vollständig zwischen sich ein. Wird aus einer derartigen
aus einem beidseits mit Folien kachierten Gelege bestehenden
Folienbahn eine durch eine Längsschweißnaht geschlossene
Schlauchbahn hergestellt, von der anschließend Säcke abge
schweißt oder Abschnitte zur Herstellung von Säcken abgetrennt
werden, ist die Ausbildung einer ausreichend festen Schweißnaht
wegen der vielen Lagen, die im Schweißnahtbereich miteinander zu
verbinden sind, fertigungstechnisch schwierig.
Aufgabe der Erfindung ist es daher, die gelegeverstärkte Folien
bahn nach dem Oberbegriff des Patentanspruchs 1 so zu
gestalten, daß sie sich mit einer sicheren und festen Längs
schweißnaht zu einem Schlauch verbinden läßt.
Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe bei einer gelegeverstärkten
Folienbahn der gattungsgemäßen Art durch die kennzeichnenden
Merkmale des Patentanspruchs gelöst.
Beim Bilden der Schweißnaht sind wegen des erfindungsgemäßen
Versatzes der Bahnen und des Geleges nur weniger Lagen
miteinander zu verschweißen, so daß eine sicherere und feste
Längsschweißnaht erzielt werden kann. Nach dem Bilden der Längs
schweißnaht ist das Kunststoffbändchengelege sowohl auf der Sack
außenseite als auch im Sackinnern durch Folien abgedeckt, so daß
es weder mit in den späteren Säcken verpackten Gegenständen noch
mit äußeren Hindernissen verhaken kann.
Aus der CH-PS 6 15 638 ist eine gewebeverstärkte Papierbahn für
die Sackherstellung bekannt, bei der die Gewebebahn an den Längs
kanten versetzt zur Papierbahn angeordnet ist. Diese Veröffent
lichung betrifft jedoch ausschließlich die Verklebung von Papier
säcken mit einer Papierlage, so daß wir keine Hinweise in Bezug
auf die spezielle Problematik bei der Herstellung von festen
Schweißnähten bei mehrlagigen Kunststoffsäcken entnommen werden
können. Auch läßt sich dieser Veröffentlichung keine Anregung
dafür entnehmen, daß das nichtgewebte Gelege beim Schweißvorgang
in vorteilhafter Weise im Randbereich noch zusätzlich fixiert
wird.
Ein Ausführungsbeispiel der Erfindung wird nachstehend anhand
der Zeichnung näher erläutert. In dieser zeigt
Fig. 1 eine gelegeverstärkte Folienbahn in Draufsicht mit
versetzt zueinander angeordneten Deckfolien und
Fig. 2 einen aus der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Folienbahn
gebildeten Folienschlauch im Querschnitt.
Bei der in Fig. 1 dargestellten Folienbahn 8 ist das Bändchen
gelege 9 breiter als die Folienbahn 8 selbst, so daß die Umkehr
punkte 10 einer Seite des Geleges 9 über den Rand 11 der Folien
bahn 8 vorstehen. Auf das Gelege 9 ist eine zweite Folienbahn 12
aufgelegt, die gegenüber der Folienbahn 8 so weit seitlich
versetzt ist, daß die überstehenden Teile des Bändchengeleges 9
von oben abgedeckt werden. Bildet man nun aus einer derart ver
stärkten Folienbahn den aus Fig. 2 ersichtlichen Schlauch, ist
das Gelege sowohl innen als auch außen von einer Folienbahn
abgedeckt. Die Folien 8 bzw. 12 werden bei der Schlauchbildung
im Überlappungsbereich direkt mit sich selbst verschweißt, so
daß sie das Gelege 9 zwischen sich einschließen. Die Schweiß
hitze braucht also für die Nähte 13 nicht so hoch zu sein, wie
sie sein müßte, wenn die Schweißnähte durch alle einander
überlappenden Lagen hindurch ausgeführt werden müßten. Natürlich
ist es auch möglich, statt der Schweißnähte 13 die Längsnähte
durch Einlegen eines extrudierten Hot-Melt-Streifens o.dgl. zu
bilden.
Claims (1)
- Gelegeverstärkte Folienbahn, bestehend aus einem beidseitig mit Folien abgedeckten Gelege, insbesondere zur Herstellung von Säcken, bei der das Gelege aus sich kreuzenden, zick-zack-förmig über die Breite des Geleges verlaufenden Bändchen mit seitlichen Umkehrpunkten besteht, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die beiden Folienbahnen (8, 12) in Querrichtung gegeneinander versetzt liegen, so daß dadurch in Längsrichtung die Rand streifen des Bändchengeleges (9) einschließlich der Umkehrpunkte (10) der Bändchen jeweils nur einseitig von einer Folienbahn (8, 12) abgedeckt sind.
