Bei der Vorrichtung nach dem Hauptpatent wirkt der ortsfest angeordnete Greifer gegen ein feststehendes Widerlager für die ihm durch das bewegliche Bündel zugeführten Haare. Durch Reibung an dem festgehaltenen Haar und auf dem Widerlager werden nun namentlich die dem ergriffenen Haar zunächst liegenden Haare mit aus dem Bündel herausgezogen, so daß die Möglichkeit eintritt, daß die hervorgezogenen Haare ebenfalls zwischen die Abzugwalzen gelangen. Der Übelstand wird auch nicht dadurch beseitigt, daß das Haarbündel beständig schrittweise um seine Längsachse gedreht wird, um immer eine neue Eingriffsstelle für den ortsfesten Greifer zu erhalten.
