Vorliegende Erfindung betrifft eine Vorrichtung zum Erleichtern des Besteigens von Leitern, die, wenn die Leitern o. dgl. bestiegen werden sollen, an den Füßen bzw. Schuhen befestigt werden und das Besteigen erleichtern soll. Die Vorrichtung besteht nun gemäß der Erfindung aus einer Platte o. dgl., die sich einerseits gegen die Unterseite des Absatzes, andererseits gegen die Stiefelsohle legt. Zwisehen diesen Stellen liegt die Platte hohl und besitzt zweckmäßig eine Einbuchtung, die ein Abgleiten des Fußes von der Sprosse verhindert.
