Description

  • "Heißsiegelwerkzeug" 3 (ZusatzánmeIdung zu Patent 1 912 294) Die Erfindung betrifft ein Heißsiegelwerkzeug zum Herstellen von Nähten an Folien aus thermoplastischen Werkstoffen, welches aus einem mit Niederspannung betriebenen Heizleiter, einer von diesem erwärmten Siegelleiste. und einem diese Siegelleiste umgreifenden Halter besteht, wobei letzterer gegen die Siegeileiste wärmeisoliert eingerichtet ist, bei dem gemäß dem Patent 1 913 294 der als Band ausgebildete Heizleiter gegen eine der Arbeitsfläche der Siegelleiste gegenüberliegende, mit einer dünnen elektrischen Isolierschicht versehenen ~längs seite der Siegelleiste durch elastische unter Vorspannung stehende Mittel auf ganzer Länge gleichmäßig angepreßt wird.
  • Als solche elastische unter Vorspannung stehende Mittel zum Andrücken des Bandes an die Siegelleiste wurden bisher Leisten aus Silikongummi verwendet.
  • Beim Einbau in Hochleistungsmaschinen müssen solche Heißsiegelwerkzeuge wegen der kürzeren Taktzeiten auf höhere Temperaturen erhitzt werden. Dabei zeigte sich, daß bei dieser erhöhten Temperaturbeanspruchung der Silikongummi vorzeitig altert und seine Elastizität verliert. Die Silikongummileisten erfüllen dann nicht mehr in der gewUnschten Weise die ihnen übertragene Aufgabe des Andrückens des Bandes an die Siegelleiste.
  • Um diesen Nachteil zu vermeiden, wird ein Heißsiegelwerkzeug vorgeschlagen, das erfindungsgemäß dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, daß die elastischen unter Vorspannung stehenden Mittel aus einer mit einer elektrischen Isolierschicht versehenen Metalleiste und mindestens einer auf diese wirkende Metallfeder bestehen.Die Metalleiste besteht vorzugsweise aus Aluminium und ist an ihrer Oberfläche eloxiert.
  • Zusätzlich zu einer verbesserten Temperaturbeständigkeit und Lebensdauer erbringt die Verwendung der metallischen Federn eine bessere Vorausbestimmbarkeit derjenigen Kräfte, die das Heizband gegen die Siegelleiste drücken sollen.
  • Dadurch werden die Anpaßarbeiten, die bei der Verwendung von Gummileisten viel Zeitaufwand beanspruchen, weitgehend vermieden.
  • Ein Ausbildungsbeispiel des erfindungsgemäßen Heißsiegelwerkzeugs ist nachstehend anhand einer Zeichnung näher erläutert.
  • Es zeigen: Fig. 1 das Heißsiegelwerkzeug in teilweise aufgeschnittener Darstellung und Fig. 2 das Heißsiegelwerkzeug gemäß Fig. 1 im Querschnitt.
  • Das Heißsiegelwerkzeug besteht im wesentlichen aus einer Siegelleiste 1, einem Heizband 2 und einem aus zwei Spannblechen 3 und einer dazwischenliegenden Befestigungsleiste 4 bestehenden Halter 5 sowie zwei plattenförmigen Isolierelementen 6, einer schlanken Metalleiste 17 und Metallfedern 18.
  • Die Metalleiste 17 und die Siegelleiste 1 bestehen vorzugsweise aus Aluminium. Die Siegelleiste 1, die Befestigungsleiste 4 sowie die Spannbleche 3 und die Isolierelemente 6 w#erden von Bolzen 11 zusammengehalten. Um einen unerwünschten Wärmeübergang von der Siegelleiste 1 über die Bolzen il in Richtung der Befestigungsleiste 4 zu vermeiden, sind die Bolzen 11 von Buchsen 12 umgeben, die aus einem wärmeisolierenden Werkstoff bestehen.
  • Die Siegelleiste 1 weist eine Arbeitsfläche 8 auf, welche sich beim Heißsiegeln gegen die miteinander zu verbindenden Folien legt. Eine dieser Arbeitsfläche 8 gegenüberliegende Längsseite 9 weist eine elektrisch isolierende Schicht 10 auf, die durch Oxydieren der Oberfläche der Siegelleiste 1 erzeugt sein kann. Gegen diese Schicht 10 wird das Heizband 2 angedrückt mittels der Metalleiste 17 und den Metallfedern 18, wobei die Metallfedern 18 von der Befestigungsleiste 4 abgestützt werden. Eine zwischen dem Heizband 2 und der Metalleiste 17 erforderliche weitere elektrische Isolierschicht 19 kann ebenfalls durch Oxydieren der Oberfläche der Metalleiste 17 hergestellt sein.
  • Statt der schraubenartig gewickelten Metallfedern 18 könnte auch ein nicht dargestelltes, wellenförmig gebogenes, aus einem Pederwerkstoff bestehendes Band vorgesehen werden.

Claims (3)

  1. Patentansprüche
    Ü)Heißsiegelwerkzeug zum Herstellen von Nähten an Folien aus thermoplastischen Werkstoffen, welches aus einem mit Niederspannung betriebenen Heizleiter, einer von diesem erwärmten Siegelleiste und einem diese Siegelleiste umgreifenden Halter besteht, wobei letzterer gegen die Siegelleiste wärmeisoliert eingerichtet ist, bei dem gemäß dem Patent 1 913 294 der als Band ausgebildete Heizleiter gegen eine der Arbeitsfläche der Siegelleiste gegenüberliegen#de, mit einer dünnen elektrischen Isolierschicht versehenen Längsseite der Siegelleiste durch elastische, unter Vorspannung stehende Mittel auf ganzer Länge gleichmäßig angepreßt wird, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die elastischen unter Vorspannung stehenden Mittel aus einer mit einer elektrischen Isolierschicht (19) versehenen Metalleiste (17) und mindestens einer auf diese wirkende Metallfeder (1#8) bestehen.
  2. 2. Heißsiegelwerkzeug nach Anspruch 1, dadurch, daß die Metallfedern (18) in Form von Schraubenfedern an sich bekannter Art ausgebildet sind.
  3. 3. Heißsiegelwerkzeug nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß die Metallfeder (18) aus einem wellenförmig gebogenen Band besteht.
