Der Zeitungshalter bezweckt das bequeme und genaue Einspannen von Zeitungen in der Weise, dafs man die gefalzten Blätter gegen die Anschlagbleche schiebt und dann einfach die beiden Hälften zusammendrückt, wobei ein in der einen Hälfte befindliches Schlofs den Verschlufs beider Hälften selbsttätig bewirkt. Durch diese einfache Handhabung ist ein schnelles Aus- und Einspannen von Zeitungen möglich; auch wird hierbei niemals der Text bedeckt und können sich bei gutem Zusammenpassen der Hälften hier die Spitzen nicht umbiegen und daher schlecht functioniren.
