Diese Maschine bezweckt, Därme inwendig sowohl wie aufsen zu_ reinigen und von den aufsen anhaftenden Häuten zu befreien. Zu dem Zweck werden die Därme über eine grofse rotirende Walze geführt, von welcher aus dieselben zwischen ein elastisches oder elastisch gelagertes Walzenpaar durchpassiren. Die Reinigung der Därme von dem äufserlich Anhaftenden und theilweise auch von dem Inhalt derselben erfolgt auf der grofsen Walze, indem rotirende, mit Flügeln versehene Walzen gegen die grofse Walze rotiren und in der Weise auf die passirenden Därme wirken, dafs die Flügel der einen Walze die Därme an der Aufsenseite streifen und dadurch den Inhalt zurückhalten und die äufseren Anhaftungen entfernen. Die zweite Flügelwalze ist bestimmt, die Schmutz- oder Hauttheile, welche sich an die Flügel der vorerwähnten Walze ansetzen, abzustreifen und fortzuführen, und die Flügel, welche sonst unwirksam werden würden, stets frei zu halten. Durch eine Schnur, welche unter der losen Rolle r durchgeht, wird die Flügelwalze B und die zweite Flügelwalze C bewegt. Die Därme werden unterhalb B auf die grofse Walze A geführt und passiren dann durch das elastische Walzenpaar m n. Die Flügel der Walze B berühren A nahezu, treffen dadurch die Därme und halten Unreinigkeiten und Hauttheile, welche sie von aufsen abschlagen, zurück, während die Walze C, welche mehr Flügel hat als B, die etwa an B anhaftenden Theile von den Flügeln dieser Walze abstreifen und fortschleudern. Durch die Schraube K, ist das Gestell, welches die Walzen B C trägt, gegen die Oberfläche von A zu justiren.
