Die am Rahmen geführte Schubstange a kann mittels der bekannten Exzentereinrichtung b auf- und abwärts bewegt werden. Als Feststellvorrichtung ist im vorliegenden Falle ein Zahnrad d gedacht, in dessen Lücken eine unter Federwirkung stehende Sperrnase β eingreift. An die Schubstange ist nun die Kurbelschleife f angelenkt, die mit ihrem oberen Schlitz dem Zapfen g des Fensterflügels Führung gibt, während sie selbst durch den festen Zapfen h und Schlitz i Führung erhält. Die Zuhaltungsvorrichtung besteht aus der Welle m, die am Rahmen drehbar gelagert ist und die Schließhaken η sowie am einen Ende den Kurbelzapfen I trägt. Beim Schließen erfolgt der umgekehrte Vorgang; es wird also erst das Fenster geschlossen, und dann legen sich die Schließhaken auf den Rahmen.
