The invention relates to a garment or part thereof according to the preamble of claim 1.

Both real and so-called fake fur are used in the manufacture of garments in large numbers. Since the present invention relates both to genuine and to fake fur, the following is usually simply referred to below as "fur" or "fur element". Common to both real and spurious furs is that they have a two-surface base layer and a plurality of one of the two surfaces (hereinafter referred to as the second surface) extending hair (real fur) or fibers (fake fur). In fake fur, the fibers may be natural fibers such as wool or synthetic fibers.

A fur element according to the definition applicable here thus consists of such a base layer, which is a woven textile element in the case of genuine fur leather and in the case of spurious fur, and of a multitude of hair or fibers extending therefrom.

A garment may consist of a single such fur element, for example when the garment is a scarf. Furthermore, a garment may consist essentially exclusively of a plurality of such fur elements, for example when the garment is a jacket. Furthermore, it is possible that a fur element or more fur elements make up only a part of a garment, for example, when the fur element forms the collar of a jacket or a jacket. The present invention relates to all just mentioned options as well as to fur elements, which are to be processed in a subsequent step (possibly with other ingredients) to a final product.

Furs have the advantage that they are very pleasant on the skin. Another advantage is their often eye-catching appearance, which, however, leaves little room for maneuver (except through dyeing).

On this basis, the present invention has the object, a generic - namely a fur element exhibiting - garment or part thereof in such a way that its optical appeal is increased.

This object is achieved by a garment or part thereof with the features of claim 1.

According to the invention, the garment or part of such except the fur element at least one additional element, which has a extending from a first end to a second end, extending through the base layer of the fur member supporting member and a decorative element. Here, the first end of the additional element is connected to the first surface of the base layer. It is particularly preferred if the support consists of at least one nylon thread, since such has the desired mechanical properties, is very durable and easy to work with. In this case, it is particularly advantageous if the nylon thread is part of a one-piece nylon element whose first end is connected to the first surface of the base layer. The support member may in this case consist of a single such nylon element, or of several, in particular two such nylon elements.

In principle, however, other materials are possible, for example, could the carrier, or even the entire support member, consist of a suitable metal high elasticity.

To be able to connect carrier and decorative element easily and safely, the decorative element preferably has an opening into which projects the second end of the support member, wherein it is preferable that the support member and the decorative element are glued together.
