Abstract

The passenger emergency call and information system is used in vehicles esp. rail vehicles equipped with speech points and corresp. emergency call buttons, also with a wheel sensor or motion pulse transmitter coupled to on-board computer system and a radio apparatus. The positional determination results using a global satellite navigation system (GPS), the results of which are compared with the on-board computer data, and the determination is transmitted to a central master station, across the operating radio or GSM. Claims (2)

1. Fahrgastnotruf- und Informationssystem auf Basis der Satellitenortung, insbesondere für die Personenbeförderung im Schienenverkehr, gekennzeichnet durch folgende Merkmale:
  • a) Ausstattung des Schienenfahrzeuges mit Notruftastern, entsprechenden Sprechstellen und einem Radsensor bzw. Wegimpulsgeber, die mit einem Bordrechnersystem und einem Funkgerät gekoppelt sind,
  • b) Satellitenortung (GPS) mit abgleichen der Radsensorik- Daten zur Positionsbestimmung des Schienenfahrzeuges,
  • c) Datenübertragung der Notrufe in eine zentrale Leitstelle und Auswertung der Daten zur Positionsbestimmung des Schienenfahrzeuges, insbesondere Position, Fahrzeugnummer und genaue Wagennummer von dem der Notruf erfolgt.
