Bekanntlich wurde bisher bei Kaminkühlern der Rieseleinbau gänzlich aus Holz gefertigt, indem die Riesellatten aus Holz bestanden und auch das Traggerüst für dieselben meistens aus Holz gefertigt wurde. Ein derartiger hölzerner Rieseleinbau unterliegt aber allzuschnell der Fäulnis, so daß derartige Holzlatten sehr oft ausgewechselt und erneuert werden müssen.
