Diese Neuerungen betreffen den selbstthätigen Zeichengeber für Pond's neues elektrisches Signalwerk.These innovations concern the automatic signal generator for Pond's new electric Signal plant.

Aus Fig. ι und 2 ersieht man den Zusammenhang der Zeichengeber A, von welchen beliebig viele in eine Leitung eingeschaltet sein können, mit dem Signalwerk oder Anzeiger (Indicator) B, und der Gegenstand der Neuerungen betrifft die sichere, und rasche Uebermittelung von Signalen oder Zeichen durch irgend einen Zeichengeber in der Leitung nach dem Anzeiger oder Indicator. Denkt man sich die Zeichengeber in den Gastzimmern eines Hotels und in Verbindung mit dem Anzeiger im Bureau des Hotels, so wird durch Drücken eines Knopfes und Aufziehen des Zeichengebers der Gast seinen Wunsch nach dem Bureau übermitteln können, indem auf dem Anzeiger das betreffende, den Wunsch des Gastes ausdrückende Wort, sowie auch die Zimmernummer erscheinen. Zu demselben Zweck lassen sich z. B. auch die verschiedenen Feuermeldestellen oder Polizeireviere einer Stadt durch die neuen Zeichengeber mit dem Anzeiger einer Centralstation verbinden und hierdurch bestimmte Wünsche, Verlangen oder Mittheilungen zu gleicher Zeit mit der näheren Bezeichnung oder Nummer des Zeichengebers der Centralstation übermitteln.From Fig. Ι and 2 you can see the connection of the signal generator A, of which any number can be switched on in a line, with the signal mechanism or indicator (indicator) B, and the subject of the innovations relates to the safe and rapid transmission of signals or Character by any character generator in the line after the display or indicator. Claims

Patent claims:
