Die Vorrichtung zum Schutz der Zapfen von Radachsen gegen Beschädigung beim Transport besteht aus zwei in Halbkreisform gebogenen Schalen α und einer diese Schalen übergreifenden, zweckmäßig an einem Ende geschlossenen Hülse b. Die Schalen α sind so geformt, daß sie, von beiden Seiten in den Raum zwischen den Zapfenläufen sich einlegend, diesen vollständig ausfüllen.
