KAISERLICHESIMPERIAL
PATENTAMT.PATENT OFFICE.
The invention extends to a closed by a weight-loaded weir flap Emergency outlet for sewers, in which the weir flap, which can be rotated about a horizontal axis, opens when the The pressure of the rising water in the canal exceeds its weight load, however the weir flap closing the emergency outlet prevented the receiving water from backing up will. The novelty is that the hold-up opening, which is in the upper one Weir part is located, can be closed by a secondary flap, such that it is at a the high water level of the receiving water reaching up to the overflow threshold Allow sewer water to flow unhindered through the overflow opening, when it rises Flood, on the other hand, withdraws into the canal by falling back into its closed position prevented.
Eine Ausführungsform des . Erfindungsgegenstandes ist auf der Zeichnung dargestellt, und zwar zeigen:An embodiment of the. The subject of the invention is shown in the drawing, namely show:
Fig. ι die Wehrklappe in der Vorderansieht, Fig. Ι the weir flap in the front view,
Fig. 2 im Grundriß,Fig. 2 in plan,
Fig. 3 und 4 im Querschnitt mit geschlossener und geöffneter oberer Klappe,3 and 4 in cross section with the upper flap closed and open,
Fig. 5 den Notauslaß mit geöffneter Wehrklappe. 5 shows the emergency outlet with the weir flap open.
The weir flap α b , which closes the emergency outlet, is mounted with its horizontal axis of rotation in the side walls and loaded with lever weights eg, has an overflow opening provided with a threshold f in its upper part b , which is opened by a secondary flap d, the horizontal axis c of which is arranged above the overflow opening, is lockable.
For the automatic opening of the weir flap α b, which increases with normal water level in the receiving water due to the pressure of the rain falls. Sewer water is brought about at a fill level of the sewer determined by the weight load e (Fig. 5), a correspondingly higher accumulation, ie higher pressure of the sewer water, is required with rising water levels in the receiving water. If the canal water rises higher than the overflow threshold when the floodwater reaches the overflow threshold f as a result of rainfall, the canal will be relieved without moving the weir flap through the opening previously kept closed by the secondary flap d (Fig. 4). If, on the other hand, the high water level of the receiving water exceeds the overflow threshold / and finally also the water level in the sewer pipe, backflow of the receiving water into the canal is caused by the secondary flap d falling back. prevented in their closed position (Fig. 3). However, as soon as the rising canal water exceeds the height of the water level in the receiving water again, the canal is relieved again by the opening secondary flap d.
If the axis of rotation of the weir flap is arranged above the overfall opening, so the mode of action remains the same.
