Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Dampfwasserableiter, bei dem die von einem sich bewegenden Organ, beispielsweise die von einem Schwimmer hervorgerufene Bewegung nicht unmittelbar auf ein Ventil übertragen wird, sondern vermittels einer Schaltvorrichtung, die von dem Schwimmer in dem einen oder dem anderen Sinne ausgeklinkt wird und ihrerseits das Ventil bewegt, dessen Öffnen sowie Schließen schnell bewirkt wird.The invention relates to a steam trap, in which the of a moving organ, for example the movement caused by a swimmer is not transmitted directly to a valve, but by means of a switching device, which is released by the float in one sense or the other and in turn moves the valve, opening it as well as closing is effected quickly.

Die Erfindung besteht im wesentlichen in der Anwendung einer Schaltvorrichtung, die aus Federn mit zwei miteinander angelenkten Stangensystemen zusammengesetzt ist. Das erste dieser Systeme steht unter dem Einfluß des Schwimmers, das zweite steht unter dem Einfluß des ersteren Systems und bewegt das Ventil der Vorrichtung beim Ausklinken des ersten Stangensystems, wobei die Federn für gewohnlich keine oder wenigstens nur eine sehr geringe Kraftwirkung ausüben, wenn sich der Schwimmer an seinen Hubenden befindet, d. h. also bei geschlossenem oder offenem Ventil, während die Federn wohl im Augenblicke des Ausklinkens beider Stangensysteme mit dem Maximum ihrer Spannung zu wirken vermögen.The invention consists essentially in the use of a switching device which is composed of springs with two rod systems articulated together. the Bars of every system form a certain angle with each other.
