Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Bienenwohnung, bei der in bekannter Weise die Honig- und Brutabteile übereinander liegen und jede Abteilung für sich ein unabhängiges Ganzes bildet und beide Abteilungen oder auch nur eine für sich herausziehbar angeordnet sind. Das Neue an der vorliegenden Erfindung ist die Anordnung einer besonderen Kammer neben dem herausziehbaren Brutabteil, in der diejenigen Bienen vorläufig ein Unterkommen finden können, welche während der Entfernung des Brutabteiles dem Stock zufliegen. Es soll dadurch der Nachteil der bekannten Bienenwohnungen der eingangs genannten Art, bei welchen die einzelnen Kasten entweder auf dem ganzen Kastenquerschnitt hin oder in einer kleinen Durchgangsöffnung durch Sperrgitter oder Schieber voneinander geschieden werden, vermieden werden, daß beim Entfernen des Brutraumes die dem Stock zufliegenden Bienen in den dadurch entstandenen freien Raum drängen, wodurch stets eine Anzahl beim Einschieben des Brutraumes totgedrückt werden.The invention relates to a beehive in which in a known manner Honey and brood compartments are on top of each other and each compartment is an independent one Forms a whole and both departments or just one of them are arranged so that they can be pulled out are. Um den Kasten B bequem herausziehen zu können, sind an seiner hinteren Wand ösen, angebracht, in die man einen Doppelhaken als Griff einhängt.
