Den Gegenstand vorliegender Erfindung bildet eine Vorrichtung zum Öffnen und Schließen der Oberlichtfenster mit Abdrückhebel und Zugschnur, die sich von anderen derartigen Einrichtungen dadurch unterscheidet, daß das Fenster durch einen Stützarm, der sich durch eine Feder aufrichtet, bei einem Zug an der Schnur, die über einen mit dem Stützarm zu einem im Gelenk federnden Kniehebel vereinigten Hebelarm geleitet ist, aufgezogen wird, während, wenn zum Zwecke des Schließens an der Schnur ein Zug ausgeübt wird, der Kniehebel einknickt und dann der Fensterflügel zugeschlagen werden kann.
