Diese Querschnittsverengung hat den Zweck, dafs das Wasser durch die Leitung 3 nicht in voller Geschwindigkeit fliefsen kann, sondern auf die Membran 2, sofern es in der Pfeilrichtung fliefst, derart in ebenfalls bekannter Weise einwirkt, dafs diese Membran nach rechts je nach dem auftretenden Druck mehr oder weniger ausgebogen wird. Die Membran 2 ist mit einer Stange 6 (Fig. 1) verbunden, welcher eine der Gröise der Ausbiegung entsprechende Längsbewegung ertheilt wird. - An dem einen freien Ende dieser Stange ist dieselbe mit einer Verzahnung versehen, und diese Verzahnung greift in einen Trieb der Welle 7 ein. Die Welle 7 wird daher je nach der Gröise des Ausschlages der Membran 2 um einen geringeren oder gröfseren Winkel um ihre Achse gedreht.
