Die bekannten Kartoffelerntemaschinen, bei welchen der von einem Schar ausgehobene Kartoffeldamm durch ein Wurfrad auf eine Fördervorrichtung bezw. ein Sieb gebracht werden, zeigen den Uebelstand, dafs Kartoffeln, Erdreich und dergl. gemeinsam weiter bewegt und gehoben werden mufsten und erst auf besonderen Siebvorrichtungen bezw. dem Fördersieb eine Trennung dieser Theile stattfand. Dadurch, dafs auch die Erde mit hochgehoben werden mufste, war die erforderliche Zugkraft eine grofse. Durch die vorliegende Erfindung soll nun erreicht werden, dafs die ausgehobenen Kartoffeln von dem Wurfrad mit entsprechender Schnelligkeit nach hinten geschleudert werden, so dafs sie von dem Schar aus unmittelbar in die zur Aufnahme der Kartoffeln bestimmten siebförmigen Becher eines Transportelevators gelangen, um den Kartoffeln und dem mitgerissenen Erdreich Gelegenheit zu geben, sich auf diesem freien Flug von einander zu trennen, so dafs die Erde vertheilt durch diesen Siebbecher hindurchfliegen kann, während nur die Kartoffeln zur Weiterbeförderung in den Bechern verbleiben.
