Die Verstellung der Latten ermöglicht es, den jeweils erforderlichen Anpreßdruck zwischen Latte und Seitenfläche der Wandtafeln und damit die Versteifung oder Verspannung der gesamten Wand genau einzustellen. Diese Verstellmöglichkeit ist nicht nur bei der Montage, d. h. beim Bau vorteilhaft, sie erlaubt außerdem nach Erstellung der Wand eine Nachregulierung von sich erfahrungsgemäß oft nachträglich einstellenden Verziehungen oder Verwerfungen.
