Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf ein neues Verfahren zum Aetzen. Werden die mit geeigneten Farbstoffen gefärbten oder bedruckten Gewebe mit einer Aetzfarbe bedruckt, welche neben dem Verdickungsmittel aus Aluminiumstaub und Bisulfit — vornehmlich Kaliumbisulfit — besteht und hierauf in der üblichen Weise gedämpft, so erhält man auf dem gefärbten Grunde ein , tadelloses Weifs. Diese neue Aetzfarbe bietet gegenüber den bekannten Oxydations- und Reductionsätzen wesentliche Vortheile, indem sie weder auf die Faser noch auf die Walzen oder Rakel der Drückmaschine irgend welchen schädlichen Einflufs ausübt. Wird der Aetzfarbe irgend ein nicht ätzbarer Farbstoff zugesetzt und sonst wie beschrieben verfahren, so erhält man ein buntes Muster. Wir erläutern das Verfahren an folgenden Beispielen :The invention relates to a new method of etching.
