Dadurch, daß sich hier der Bremshebel in der unwirksamen Lage über dem Ski befindet, ist er beim gewöhnlichen Fahren nicht hinderlich. Der Bremshebel kann hierbei zufolge der geneigten Drehachse auf einfache Weise aus der Nichtgebrauchslage über dem Ski in die Bremslage neben der Skiseite verschwenkt werden. Der seitlich und nach unten über die Skigleitfläche vorstehende Teil des Bremshebels 7 bremst den beim Auslösen der Bindung frei gewordenen Ski einseitig, so daß der Ski in einem Bogen etwas weitergleiten und stillstehen wird. Es ist dadurch nicht erforderlich, den Ski zusätzlich mittels eines Sicherungsriemens mit dem Skischuh zu verbinden. Der Nachteil solcher Sicherungsriemen, daß sie auch eine gewisse Unfallgefahr darstellen, ist somit vermieden.To pivot braking position.
