Die aus verseiftem Wollfett und Mineralölen hergestellten Schmiermittel eignen sich einerseits infolge ihres niedrigen Schmelzpunktes und des dadurch bedingten überaus raschen Verbrauches, andererseits aber infolge der Thatsache, dafs sie leicht verharzen und klebrig werden, nicht als Wagenfette, trotzdem ihre sonstigen Eigenschaften sie hierfür geeigneter machen wie jedes andere Material.
