Wir haben gefunden, dafs die Färbungen des nach dem Verfahren unseres D. R. P. 103861 erhaltenen Farbstoffs, welchen wir in besonders reiner Form unter dem Namen »Immedialblau C« in den Handel bringen, durch Behandlung mit Wasserstoffsuperoxyd ihre Nuance verändern. Die ursprünglich bläulich schwarze Nuance verwandelt sich in ein lebhaftes Tiefblau, so dafs der Farbstoff als Ersatz für Indigo dienen kann. Die Echtheit dieser so nachbehandelten Färbungen gegen Wäsche, Säuren, Licht, Chlor u. s. w. ist hervorragend und übertrifft in mehrfacher Beziehung, so besonders in Bezug auf Wäsche diejenige von Indigofärbungen. ; We have found that the colorations of the dye obtained by the process of our DRP 103861, which we market in a particularly pure form under the name "Immedial Blue C", change their shade by treatment with hydrogen peroxide.
