Description

Metallische Reibpaarung für Kupplungen und Bremsen Bei Reibungskupplungen, z. B. bei Konuskupplungen, ist der Reibbeiwert der verwendeten Werkstoffpaarung von entscheidender Bedeutung. Die von einer solchen Kupplung übertragene Kraft P errechnet sich aus dem Produkt aus Anpreßkraft N und Reibbeiwert u, (P = µ ₧ N). Je höher der Reibbeiwert also ist, eine desto geringere Anpreßkraft ist aufzuwenden, um eine bestimmte Kraft und ein bestimmtes Drehmoment zu übertragen. Man hat daher bisher versucht, durch eine besondere Ausbildung der Reibflächen und durch die Wahl einer besonderen Reibpaarung einen möglichst hohen Reibwert zu erzielen. Bei den Überlegungen, die durch besondere Formgestaltung einen hohen Reibwert zum Ziele hatten, versuchte man vor allem, durch Verzahnungen, Rillungen oder gewindeförmige Ausbildung einer Reibfläche die spezifische Flächenpressung zu erhöhen. Die Erhöhung der spezifischen Flächenpressung hat jedoch den Nachteil, daß der Verschleiß sehr vergrößert wird und durch den Abrieb Formveränderungen auftreten, die den Reibbeiwert ungünstig beeinflussen. Im allgemeinen kann über die Reibungs- und Verschleißverhältnisse bei polierten Flächen folgendes festgestellt werden: Das bekannte 'Verfahren des Elektropolierens gestattet es also, bei Reibflächen von Kupplungen und Bremsen den Reibbeiwert zu erhöhen, wobei der Verschleiß nur unbedeutend zunimmt. Versuche haben ergeben, daß durch dieses Polieren eine derartige Glättung der Flächen eintritt, daß sich diese gewissermaßen gegenseitig festsaugen. Hierdurch entsteht eine erhebliche Erhöhung des Reibbeiwertes, beispielsweise von 0,15 auf 2,1. in der Anlaufphase; nach längerer Laufzeit ergibt sich noch ein Unterschied von 0,13 auf 0,15.
