Abstract
Η εφεύρεση προτείνει πολλές καινοτομίες σχετικές με τις μεθόδους και τις εγκαταστάσεις θερμικής απόσταξης με MVC για την μείωση της ειδικής κατανάλωσης αυτών σε ηλεκτρική ενέργεια, σε τιμές που φθάνουν μόνο στις 2 έως 4kWh/m3 παραγομένου αποστάγματος, καθώς και του κόστους κατασκευής. Το σύστημα μεταφοράς ατμού περιορίζεται στην απλούστερη εκδοχή αυτού και παρουσιάζει σχεδόν μηδενική συνολική απώλεια δυναμικού φορτίου. Το σύστημα συμπίεσης (συμπεριλαμβανομένου του κινητήρα συμπίεσης) είναι πλήρως ενσωματωμένο στον εξατμιστή-συμπυκνωτή, εγκατεστημένο στην είσοδο των περιοχών συμπύκνωσης, εξοπλισμένο κατά προτίμηση με ένα σύστημα που αποτρέπει την υπερθέρμανση του ατμού και κινούμενο με υψηλή ταχύτητα περιστροφής. Κατά προτίμηση, οι βοηθητικοί εξοπλισμοί εγκαθίστανται εντός του περιβλήματος υπό μερικό κενό (του ερμητικά κλειστού θαλάμου). Σύμφωνα με μία ιδιαίτερη μορφή υλοποίησης, οι περιοχές συμπύκνωσης παρουσιάζουν διατομή η οποία μειώνεται με την διαδρομή του ατμού. Οι εναλλάκτες επί των εισερχομένων και εξερχόμενων ροών τροφοδοτούνται με συνεχώς εξισορροπούμενα θερμικά φορτία. Οι θερμικές απώλειες αντισταθμίζονται με βοηθητική θέρμανση. Κατά προτίμηση, η εγκατάσταση μπορεί να υλοποιηθεί με δομοστοιχειωτό σχεδιασμό.
