Abstract
<p>La presente invención, se relaciona con un método para marcar un producto a base de plástico, tales como billetes de polímero. Dichos plásticos pueden ser rígidos o flexibles, por ejemplo elastoméricos. Dichos plásticos pueden ser termoplásticos o termoestables. Particularmente, el método de la presente invención, es un método para marcar un producto a base de plástico, caracterizado porque el método comprende: implantar iones metálicos, (particularmente iones de plata), en un substrato de plástico para alterar las características de por lo menos un área del substrato.</p>
