Abstract
Un método para la lixiviación de un material que contiene uno o más metales objetivo usando una solución ácida de lixiviación para extraer dichos uno o más metales objetivo, dicho método incluye: determinar empíricamente un rango de concentración óptima de ácido para dicha solución ácida de lixiviación, como sigue: (a) determinar la relación entre la concentración del metal(es) objetivo extraídos y el consumo de ácido en dicha solución de lixiviación, (b) utilizar dicha relación para evaluar los parámetros de valor para el material que contiene el metal objetivo en función de dicho consumo de ácido, y (c) determinar dicho rango de concentración óptima de ácido, que es el rango de pH que corresponde a un parámetro de valor óptimo; y (II) controlar la concentración de dicha solución ácida de lixiviación de tal manera que su pH este sustancialmente en el rango de concentración óptima de ácido en todo el material.
