Abstract
RESUMEN Se puede formar poliestireno de alto impacto con un mayor índice de hinchamiento y una decoloración reducida o eliminada. Un proceso de formación de poliestireno de alto impacto puede incluir proporcionar un sistema de polimerización que incluye un reactor de polimerización y un desvolatilizador. Se puede formar poliestireno de alto impacto en el reactor de polimerización y enviarlo al desvolatilizador. Se puede añadir al sistema de polimerización un antioxidante polar que tiene una estructura de fenol impedida y un grupo amino alifático, y con un antioxidante de fosfito. En otro proceso, se puede agregar un retardante químico y un agente blanqueador fluorescente al sistema de polimerización. En otro proceso, se puede añadir al sistema de polimerización un retardante químico que inhibe el enlazamiento cruzado de caucho de radicales libres.
