Abstract

一种IDC电连接器,包括设有前端面与后端面的绝缘本体,在前、后端面之间设有通道,每个通道收容有一端子,且每一端子包括有延伸出后端面的绝缘刺破部及延伸出前端面的插接部,上述后端面组装有盖体。绝缘本体上组装有防电磁干扰遮蔽体,该遮蔽体包括有上壳体,上壳体具有屏蔽部以围绕插脚部,且屏蔽部的较低纵长侧向下延伸有若干板片抵接在绝缘本体的外侧面,而下壳体则与该上壳体接合以包围盖体。

Description

IDC电连接器
本实用新型是有关一种IDC电连接器,尤其是指一种具有防电磁干扰遮蔽体的IDC电连接器。
随着线缆中讯号传输速度的增加,将电磁干扰从讯号中隔离便变得日益重要,而现有技术是通过使用接地带状线缆以达到上述目的。接地线缆就像栅栏一样可防讯号被干扰,然而,IDC电连接器内的导线由于其防电磁干扰装置未能遮蔽良好,因而防电磁干扰的效果受到削弱。
本实用新型目的是提供一种具有防电磁干扰遮蔽体的IDC电连接器,以确保讯号传输的可靠度。
本实用新型的目的是这样实现的,IDC电连接器包括有绝缘本体,其设有前端面与后端面,在前、后端面之间设有若干通道,其内收容有若干导电端子,每一端子形成有从延伸出后端面的绝缘剌破部及延伸出前端面的插接部。后端面上设有盖体以利于扁平柔性线缆在绝缘剌破部的连接,且绝缘本体上组设有防电磁干扰遮蔽体,该防电磁干扰遮蔽体上包括有围绕插接部的上壳体,且从盖体较低纵向侧向下延伸有若干板片,以与绝缘本体的外端面接合,而下壳体组接在上壳体上以包围盖体及线缆的一部份。且下壳体向外延伸出一板面以支撑线缆,其板面上组装有压持片以确保线缆在板面上的稳固。
下面结合附图及实施例对本实用新型作进一步的说明。

请参阅图1、图2及图8所示,本实用新型第一实施例中的IDC电连接器10包括有梯形绝缘本体11,其设有前端面11a及后端面11b,前端面11a与后端面11b之间设有若干通道(未图示),每一通道内收容有一端子12,其形成有延伸出后端面11b的绝缘剌破部份(未图示),及一延伸出前端面11a的插接部12a。盖体13组装到后端面11b,以利在扁平柔性线缆70(请参阅图3所示)连接到绝缘剌破部上。绝缘本体11在相对侧壁11c内设有两个凹槽14,每一凹槽14形成有在底围的突肩14a及具倾斜的导引面15a及抵止面15b的楔块15,且每一凹槽14在楔块15相邻处设有凹口14b。
防电磁干扰遮蔽体20组装到绝缘本体11,其包括有上壳体21及下壳体26,上壳体21形成有屏蔽部22,以包围端子12的插接部12a,而屏蔽部22的较低纵长侧22a则向下延伸出三个板片23,当上壳体21被组装到绝缘本体11时,板片23可与绝缘本体11的侧壁11c相抵接。在相邻板片23之间的较低纵长侧22a向下延伸出扣持件24,每一扣持件24并设有细长开槽24a,以与绝缘本体11的楔块15相对接。
下壳体26组接至上壳体21上以包覆绝缘本体11,下壳体26包括具有纵长壁27a的基部27及从外围延伸的二端壁27b,一对夹件2从纵长壁27a延伸出以与上壳体21的扣持件24相接合。夹件28包括有角部28a及尖端28b,角部28a抵接在凹槽14的突肩14a处,当下壳体26被组接到上壳体21上时,尖端28b延伸至细长开槽24a内。
下壳体26包括有向外延伸的板面29,以用在支撑线缆70,板面29在相对侧形成有一对侧翼29a,且纵向设有一肋条29b。
压持板30组设到下壳体26的板面29上,通过以将线缆70固持在板面29上。上述压持板30包括有对应在板面29的基部30a及一对从相对端向下延伸的短翼30b,短翼30b的高度相同或小于线缆70的厚度,线缆70稳固扣持在内。基部30a进一步形成有一对肋条30c,其与板面29的肋条29b形成交错排列,线缆70进一步固持在其间。
沿压持板30的纵向侧延伸出一对夹件30d,以与上壳体21的扣持件24接合,每一夹件30d包括有角部30e及尖端30f,角部30e抵撑凹槽14的突肩14a处,当压持板30被组接到上壳体21上时,尖端30f延伸到扣持件24的开槽24a内。
请参阅图3、图4、图5及图9所示,本实用新型第二实施例的IDC电连接器110,除了省略了压持板30外,其它结构均与第一实施例中的IDC电连接器10的结构相同。IDC电连接器110包括有梯状绝缘本体111,其设有前端面111a及后端面111b,在前、后端面111a、111b之间设有若干通道(未图示),每一通道内收容有端子112,每一端子112形成有一延伸出后端面111b的绝缘剌破部(未图示)及延伸出前端面111a的插接部111b。后端面111b组接有盖体113,以利在在绝缘剌破部的扁平柔性线缆70的连接。绝缘本体111在相对侧壁111c处设有两凹槽114,每一凹槽114形成有一在底围的突肩114a和具有倾斜的导引面115a及抵止面115b的楔块115,且每一凹槽114进一步在与楔块115的相邻处设有凹口114b。
绝缘本体111组装有防电磁干扰遮蔽体120,该遮蔽体120包括上壳体121及下壳体126,上壳体121形成有屏蔽部122,以包围端子112的插接部112a,而屏蔽部122的较低纵向侧122a向下延伸出三个板片123,当上壳体121被组装入绝缘本体111中时,板片123可与绝缘本体111的侧壁111c相抵接。在相邻板片123之间的较低纵向侧122a向下延伸出扣持件124,每一扣持件124设有细长开槽124a,以与绝缘本体111的楔块115相对接。
下壳体126组接至上壳体121上以包覆绝缘本体111,该下壳体126并包括有一具纵长部127a的基部127及从外围延伸出的端壁127b,而一对夹件128从纵长壁127a延伸出以与上壳体121的扣持件124相接合。夹件128包括有角部128a及尖端128b,角部128a抵接在凹槽114的突肩114a处,而当下壳体126被组接到上壳体121上时,尖端128b延伸至细长开槽124a内。
下壳体126进一步包括有水平延伸的板面129,以支撑线缆70的一部份,且板面129在相对端形成有一对侧翼129a,且纵向设有一肋条129b。上壳体121包括有端片125,其设有一开口125a,而下壳体126的端壁127b则形成有与开口126a相对应的夹件127c,通过由开口125a与夹件127c的接合,使上下壳体能稳接。此外,由于侧翼129a直接变形以夹住线缆70时失效,因此第一实施例中的压持板30是不需要的。
图6、图7揭示了线缆170的不同变化,该线缆170设有接地面171与侧翼129a直接连接,并在此形成接地路径。
从第一实施例中可知,肋条29b与侧翼30b将线缆夹持在内,所以当遮蔽体20与压持板30组合在一起时,便有应变消除功能。同样,在第二实施例中,肋条129b与侧翼130b固持线缆于其内,也有应变消除的功能。换言之,本实用新型提供了防电磁干扰遮蔽及应变消除功能,代替了现有IDC电连接器中只有应变消除装置而无遮蔽功能的缺陷。
从第二实施例中可知(请参阅图9所示),线缆沿着下壳体126与绝缘本体111之间的一侧及底端延伸,并露出在绝缘本体111另一侧的外部,以加强线缆与绝缘本体之间的接合。

Claims (9)

1.一种IDC电连接器,包括绝缘本体,其设有前端面与后端面,在前、后端面之间设有若干通道,每一通道内收容有一端子,而每一端子包括有延伸出后端面的绝缘剌破部及延伸出前端面的插接部,且后端面设有盖体,其特征在于:绝缘本体上组装有防电磁干扰遮蔽体,包括上壳体,其上设有包围插接部的屏蔽部;若干个板片,其从上述屏蔽部的较低纵长侧向下延伸,并与绝缘本体的外端面抵接;下壳体,其连接在上壳体上并包围盖体。
2.如权利要求1所述的IDC电连接器,其特征在于:上壳体包括有至少一扣持件。
3.如权利要求1所述的IDC电连接器,其特征在于:下壳体包括至少一夹件与上壳体的扣持件相接合。
4.如权利要求1所述的IDC电连接器,其特征在于:下壳体设有板面以支撑线缆。
5.如权利要求4所述的IDC电连接器,其特征在于:下壳体的板面组接有压持板。
6.如权利要求4所述的IDC电连接器,其特征在于:板面包括一对从其内反向侧延伸出的侧翼。
7.如权利要求1所述的IDC电连接器,其特征在于:上壳体包括有一对从相对端延伸出的端片。
8.如权利要求7所述的IDC电连接器,其特征在于:端片与端壁之一设有开口。
9.如权利要求4所述的IDC电连接器,其特征在于:板面包括在相对端的一对板片。
